Landscape Perspective
An interesting quirky four sided plot made this garden quite a unique project for us as we absolutely started with a blank canvas. This garden was a brand new space attached to a brand new property. In conjunction with Garden Designer, Helen Thomas, we joined forces to bring her and our clients vision to life.
We created a variety of spaces and textures for our client using a design of concentric circles, giving an organic flow with interlocking circular lawns. Defining various spaces and sections with materials carefully chosen by our client reflecting on their own history and colour choices. Materials such as handpicked granite lawn edging and cappuccino porcelain tiles for raised patio areas, we have been able to bring our clients individual personality to their own garden space.
Maintenance perspective
It always great to be able to return to our garden builds as part of a regular maintenance plan. This allows us to keep the design and visual elements of the garden on point and as our customer likes. It allows us to pick up early on any areas which may need further attention or particular nurturing.
As time progresses throughout our maintenance attendance, we can also identify opportunities where additional soft landscaping and planting can be added. Regular lawn care ensures that our client has a lush green manicured lawn all year round.
We started our initial discussion with creative director Ed Henson of TMN Landscapes in January 2022 along with our landscape designer who introduced us.
Ed is highly knowledgeable and suggested various small changes that would enhance the overall look. We agreed and employed TMN Landscapes Ltd to start work in April and they were right on time.
Ably lead by a site foreman (Tom) TMN carried out the work in a phased manner, adjusting the manpower as needed and bringing in the right material daily and skilled professionals like electricians, plumbers and carpenters along with removing waste by getting the trucks on time. TMN were very well organised in thinking through the need of the work, including laying underground cable ducts for electrical cables in coordination with the electrical contractor, organising their work to coordinate with progress needed.
TMN were flexible on minor changes needed as landscapes work go there are always something that crops up. TMN Landscapes worked hand in hand with our Landscape designer every step of the way and finished work ahead of time. by not wasting a single working day. I found TMN Landscapes to be highly professional in their work and communication throughout our major project that included building new patios, relaying lawn, garden area, vegetable beds, part gravelling and planting.
